Surfing Your Ocean

For a long time now I've used surfing as a consistent and inspirational metaphor for how to get through life when I'm not in the water. As a result I've had a long and varied career as a surfer, including founding surfing's largest non-profit environmental organization, as well as a career in teaching from kindergarten through adult ed. As a result, I have a really wide range of interests in music, literature, and art, and with a daily connection to the ocean (I still check the surf every dawn across the street from where I live in Oxnard Shores) and my work commute to Malibu morning and evenings, I'd like to find a like-minded woman who has that kind of eclectic, yet focused, take on life. As you might imagine, its not an easy search, so I thought this website might be a fun experiment. But websites and profiles only go so far - there's not getting around the idea of a lunch or dinner or a surf session to see what real chemistry might exist. Don't you agree?
